Noble and Nolan in midfield.
At the risk of going over the quota for football threads, I thought that this was a topic worth talking about.

I can't see how a midfield composing these two can ever work. It lacks pace, is short on creativity and only Noble offers anything defensively.

Nolan is ballast without the goals. Noble can offer something with good players around him, but looks poor next to Nolan.

I hope we don't see them together again.

I don't think we need Darren Fletcher, we need Morgan on the pitch. Valencia has been sacrificed to this vanity project, so has Downing, so has Amalfitano, so has Song. It's beyond parody now.

Just looked on Wiki, will it really be Noble's 300th appearance (in all comps) for West Ham if he plays on Sunday?

We will dominate the game for 70 minutes, only to have the game turned by a dodgy penalty to Liverpool.

Those are the rules for any half decent West Ham side visiting Anfield.

I reckon he will notch the WINNING penalty at Anfield and be the first West Ham United player to do so in 53 years.

FUCKING HAVE THAT

Without bring his ability into it (from your point of view) why us he not a 'model' professional?

Does everyone honestly believe the bollocks that Noble is a model professional?

Hahahaha

connolly8, I disagree. Noble is a model professional who keeps his head down, trains and gives his all to the cause.

I could well be wrong but my experience of football fans is that they know who the wrong uns are and they are the "hated" players.

The claret and blue specs have always protected Mark from abuse if he was scouse he would be hated on here more than Kevin Nolan.

I'd say taking the piss out of his goal scoring and lack of transfer speculation away from the club is having a dig.

We haven't had any bids for Reid either but I'm sure you won't use the same rationale to dig out Reid.

FMOB you miis the point read my earlier threads. There are plenty of very good points Ive raised why IMO and thats all it is an opinion, that Noble doesn't warrant a starting place.

There are so many people on here with blind spots when it comes to Mark Noble. For the final time let me clarify.

1; I do not hate Mark Noble
2; Yes he is good to have in the squad
3; Does he justify a starting place in the team ahead of Song Kouyate Amilfitano Downing when all of them are available? IMO.....NO.

Re: Noble and Nolan in midfield.
I said he has been 'pretty' shit, which he has, loose passes and getting caught in possession many times, and generally looking a bit lazy, I'd say that's pretty shit. One good pass? So Noble has never hit a good pass to set up a goal before then?

You should quit while you're still behind.

Total crap. Am I slagging him? No im not. Im saying IMO he doesnt warrant a starting place based on what I am now seeing from him on a regular basis. My opinion is clearly stated as to why I believe he shouldny start.

Song was Shit??
Of course what a terrible ball that was for Downing. What a terrible pass to Valencia who set Amalfitano free to score.

Dear oh dear how some people view a game of football is totally beyond me.

If you actually had a point to your opinion I'd understand, but to slag a defensive midfielder off for not scoring many from open play isn't a criticism worth giving any credance.

As for never seeing the other side of a discussion, you've got some neck when you dismiss anyone who opposes your view as simply sticking up for him because he is a local youth player.

With all these shit players we've got, I'm surprised we're anywhere near the top half, Boots.
